Understanding the impact of child removal on women: A compassionate approach

Understanding the Impact of Child Removal on Women: A Compassionate Approach

Our full-day, in-person training, Understanding the Impact of Child Removal on Women: A Compassionate Approach, is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills and empathy needed to support women affected by child removal.

Why This Training Matters?

Research shows that many women experience profound isolation and stigma following child removal, which can severely impact their mental health and ability to engage with services. By developing a deeper understanding of these challenges, professionals can help reduce barriers and provide more effective support.

What Makes Our Training Unique?

This training is co-produced and co-delivered with a mum who has lived-experience of child removal, ensuring participants hear first-hand about the emotional impact and the support that can make a real difference. Our specialist trainers bring years of experience working in this field, sharing practical strategies for engaging and supporting women in compassionate ways.
